Canadians gross big in tours; gas prices to show in tickets
Michael Buble was the topped the list of Canadians with the highest grossing tours in North America in the first half of 2008. His revenue of $32.5 million put him fifth overall, well behind Bon Jovi ($56.3 million).

Canadian Musicians not Making Much
It might seem shocking, but the average Canadian musician isn’t making much money. A recent survey by Rotman School of Management professor Douglas Hyatt and polling company Pollara showed the mean take-home pay for music makers is about $16,500. Two-thirds have a second job to help make ends meet.
